KOAMTAC offers its KDC280 miniature Bluetooth barcode scanner in three different versions: with laser, CCD or imager. In this way, it meets many different requirements in different sectors. While the laser and CCD versions capture 1D barcodes, the imager also reads 2D barcodes. The maximum scanning range is up to 190 mm (laser), 246 mm (camera) or 300 mm (CCD), depending on the size and type of the barcode.
The three scanner variants impress with their low weight of only 57.5 g and compact dimensions of 40 x 82 x 18 mm (W x H x D). The equipment includes micro USB and Bluetooth 4.1 Low Energy (BLE) interfaces. The latter allows the scanners to be used with smart watches, smart glasses and other wearable smart devices. Additionally, the 650 mAh replaceable lithium-ion battery, 64 KB RAM and 8 MB flash memory ensure reliable performance. According to the IP65 standard, the scanners are also protected against the ingress of dust and water jets.
