KOAMTAC's KDC470 and KDC475 long-life scanners allow industrial and warehouse users to reliably and quickly capture 1D/2D barcodes and, if necessary, also RFID tags. Therefore, different variants of scanner with 1D laser, 1D CCD or 2D imager are available. The modular scanners convince with high durability: they are completely protected against the penetration of dust and water jets according to the IP65 standard. Additionally, they easily survive multiple falls from a height of up to 1.5 m.

To make it possible to combine almost all smart devices (such as a smart watch or smart glasses) with the KDC470 and KDC475 scanners, KOAMTAC has equipped them with a specially designed housing. This technically advanced modular design allows devices to be easily upgraded without changing scanning features.

Additional equipment of the scanners includes a powerful 1,130 mAh lithium-ion battery that is easily charged via a micro USB connection or via the charging station. Additionally, KOAMTAC offers an innovative charging case, so users are ready to use the scanners almost always and everywhere. Memory capacity includes 64 KB of RAM and 8 MB of flash ROM. Interfaces include Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR (Class 2), Bluetooth Low Energy 4.1 (BLE), micro USB, USB Type C, and serial.

Both the KDC470 and KDC475 are compatible with a wide range of devices that connect easily. In addition, many accessories are available, including an HF reader, a 0.5 and 1.0 W UHF reader, a pistol grip, a 2000 mAh expansion battery and an mPOS device.
