During the design of its TSP100IV 3" thermal receipt printer, Star placed great importance on a compact but elegant appearance. The result is a powerful printer with a polygonal design. It can be mounted horizontally, vertically and even optionally on the wall. It prints just like its predecessor models with an integrated power supply and high print speed: it creates receipts at a maximum print speed of up to 250 mm per second.

Part of the TSP100IV's performance-enhancing equipment includes the standard dual USB and LAN interface, which provides a greater degree of ease of use and flexibility at the POS, as the interfaces no longer have to be connected individually. In addition, the optional wireless LAN unit connection also supports wireless LAN connections.

For print control from multiple host systems, the TSP100IV relies on comprehensive software, such as the popular CloudPRNT technology. Through the Star Micronics cloud service, users receive access to the Web API, an application program interface that supports remote maintenance and effective operation of the device.
