Honeywell Eclipse MS5145 Barcode Scanner

The Eclipse 5145 is a powerful single-line handheld barcode scanner for all popular barcode types. A compact housing and a wide range of programming and connectivity options make it the perfect versatile scanner for many typical barcode applications.

With its modern laser engine, the Eclipse 5145 has a larger detection range and wider scanning field than any other CCD scanner. It provides aggressive reading at high rates and can read even small barcodes with high resolution or without errors. This enables not only cash register applications, but also, for example, in the jewelers' shop, or for the digitization of small electronic components or mechanical elements. Its compact design and housing allow application even in the most adverse conditions: continuous drops from 1.5m onto concrete do not affect its reliability. A sealed casing protects from airborne contamination and dust. The Eclipse 5145 has an operating temperature range of 0°C to 40°C, and therefore covers the entire temperature range of food logistics storage. The low weight of only 97 g makes it one of the lightest portable scanners on the market, and improves the efficiency of ergonomic daily operation.

The optional CodeGate feature first buffers all scanned data, and once the user presses the CodeGate button the scanned data is released and transferred to the computer. Ergonomically positioned at the top of the scanner housing, users conveniently press the button with their thumb. This feature is specially designed for very small barcode, menu reading or document scanning.

The Eclipse 5145 has all the necessary accessories included: the PowerLink cable can be changed according to the users' needs. The included »data analysis« software processes scan individual information and makes integrating professional data much easier.
