Citizen has developed its direct thermal printer of CT-E601 receipts taking into account the high demands of medical care and points of sale. Its housing resists the aggressive chemicals of the disinfectants and is protected from germs and bacteria: the smooth surface guarantees that bacteria and germs do not have a place to settle. Consequently, the printer meets the requirements of ISO 22196 and takes the SIAA brand.

In addition to its lasting housing and its design that saves space, the CT-E601 also impresses with its high printing performance: its maximum printing speed is up to 350 mm/sec. with a consistently good resolution of 203 ppp. For easy and fast state control, Citizen has equipped it with a paper jam sensor and a paper end sensor. In addition, it has a convenient paper feeder to easily change paper and paper outlet at the top. This is particularly ideal for retail points of sale, since it allows both the cashier and the client to access the receipt.
