Honeywell HF520

The Honeywell HF520 is a fixed-mount, wide-angle imager with integrated USB and RS-232 interfaces, ideal for vending machines, mobile payments, self-check-in and check-out. Among other things, its first-class reading performance is due to an impressive motion tolerance of up to 1.2 m per second. Therefore, it not only captures all common 1D/2D barcodes from both printed and digital labels from LCD or OLED displays, but also increases throughput and reduces processing times.

Furthermore, the HF520 has a compact housing with dimensions of only 41.7 x 41.7 x 32.5 mm (L x W x H) and a weight of only 55.5 grams. Its robustness is guaranteed by its impact resistance from a height of 1.5 m and IP40 certification. Consequently, the imager is protected against the penetration of foreign bodies up to 1 mm in diameter. It also easily withstands operating temperatures of -10 to 50°C and storage temperatures of -40 to 70°C, as well as non-condensing humidity of up to 95 percent.
