Its housing is, of course, robust and the current decoding engine offers an unprecedented scanning performance, as well as scanning images reliably. Numerous drops from 2 meters heights do not affect the POWERSCAN PD9500; Neither impacts nor other external influences. It is protected against water and dust, at the same time that it makes it operational both indoors and outdoors (-20 to +50 ° C).

Depending on the resolution of the bar codes, the PD9500 has a range of scan from direct contact up to 1 meter. For high resolution bar codes, opt for the high performance version instead of the standard version. The high performance version has an innovative highly liquid lens and thus combines the high density, extended range and standard variants on a single device. For DPM applications (Direct Part Marking), where the barcode is applied by engraving, laser or injection of ink, Datalogic also offers a special version. This variant reads approximately 80% of market products with DPM bar codes reliably, thanks to its sophisticated lighting system. A test in real conditions ensures certainty.

The target area is clearly delineated by red lines, and in the center there is a reticle. The reading receipt is confirmed by Green Spot of Datalogic, which is projected in the barcode, as well as an adjustable Beeper and green LEDs. This ensures clarity after each scan and significantly increases user efficiency - double-exploration software errors can be avoided.

Standard, the POWERSCAN PD9500 contains a multiple interface practice. Depending on the application, the connection is made through the USB, RS232 or KBW interface. A three-year warranty guarantees long-term investment.
