Citizen CL-S621/631 Label Printer
The devices of the CL-S621 / 631 family provide absolutely professional label and ticket production by direct thermal printing or thermal transfer. This flexible solution combined with the high performance of printers guarantees perfect integration in almost all applications.
These desktop printers can handle small to medium size labels with a maximum width of 118 mm. The Cl-S621 prints logos, images and clear bar codes in a particularly efficient manner with 8 points / mm (203 ppi), the CL-S631 with 12 points / mm (300 ppi). A speed of up to 150 mm per second always guarantees fast production and impresses with short waiting times.
All mechanics of the print head is based on a resistant metal frame that opens wide enough to make the roll and ink tape changes as easy as possible. With thermal transfer tapes of up to 360 m in length, print approximately 6800 labels without ink tape changes, which minimizes interruptions. The adjustable material sensor has been optimized in the new version and guarantees absolute precision, as well as a correct placement to one hundred percent, essential for frequently changing materials. High reliability, durable and stable construction and the expandable and adaptable concept make the Citizen Cl-S621 / 631 a printer of first choice labels.
Patented features impress even more through first-class performance: the ARCP system regulates the voltage of the ink tape automatically during thermal transfer printing, thus avoiding crumpled tapes and subsequent failures. The printer automatically changes between DataMax, EPL and ZPL languages. Together with the flash memory up to 16 MB, this cross-emulation guarantees a series of applications. The CL-S621 comes standard with incorporated serial and USB interfaces. Optionally, you can also install a parallel, Ethernet or Wi-Fi card for an optimal connection to existing infrastructures. Equipped with a vanguard in the standard version, desktop printers can be updated if necessary with easy-to-install label dispensers or labels. This is especially useful for tickets and other applications where the labels and the continuous feeding means are cut into predefined lengths.
