Pure resin ribbon for flat head printers. Excellent UV resistance. Suitable for most synthetic label materials. For flathead printers: SS3F is a general-purpose pure resin ribbon developed in response to the most demanding requirements of the pharmaceutical, chemical and automotive industries. The ink formulation offers very good levels of mechanical and solvent resistance and works well on a wide range of synthetic materials, producing crisp, clear printed images and barcodes. Toshiba SS3F ribbons: an ideal option for outdoor applications, as it will withstand the most extreme weather conditions.

    Toshiba TEC Spain Imaging Systems has expanded its range of industrial label printers with the launch of the B-EX6T series, the most advanced in its range and offering the lowest cost of ownership in the market. The new models offer a solution of high performance, reliability and profitability in sectors or activities that need to print a significant volume of large format labels. Thanks to this launch, Toshiba Tec Spain expects to reach a 20% share in this market segment in 2016 and increase its sales by 12%, compared to 2015.

    The B-EX6T series allows you to print labels up to 6 inches at a speed of 305 mm per second, which increases your productivity by 15%, compared to your main competitor. In addition, it is available with a resolution of 200 and 300 dots per inch, for higher quality printing and perfect readability of barcodes.

    These new printers incorporate a wide variety of features as standard to reduce printing costs by up to 30%, compared to other market options. These include the Ribbon Save function of Toshiba, which lifts the print head and stops tape consumption. This is very useful when using preprinted labels or with areas where it is not necessary to print. They also have a long-lasting printhead and a ribbon length of up to 800 meters, which decreases the number of stops per roll change.
    Thanks to these features, in an environment with an average print volume of 20,000 labels per month per printer, the B-EX6T series can reduce the cost per unit by up to 30%.

    As for their connectivity, they have USB and serial LAN and optional WLAN, as well as advanced control functions via Bluetooth, to access and make changes to the configuration from tablets or smartphones.

    Finally, it is worth mentioning the incorporation of interfaces that allow its integration easily into existing printing systems and the option to print RFID, a capacity available in the entire range of Toshiba industrial printers. In addition, the B-EX6T has the Energy Star classification, which certifies its low energy consumption.
