The user-friendly, 4.3" full-color LCD touchscreen ensures simple and convenient operation with an intuitive menu navigation (standard on healthcare and RFID models, or optional on thermal transfer and direct thermal models). Three additional function keys and five integrated status LEDs further simplify the ZD621's operation.
Other features of the sustainable desktop printer include an optional battery function, 256 MB of SDRAM, and 512 MB of flash memory. The movable media sensor ensures high flexibility and allows for virtually unlimited media selection. Furthermore, the ZD621's wide range of interfaces facilitates integration and connection to wired or wireless networks. Direct connection to a Windows, Android, or iOS PC is also possible. Interfaces include USB 2.0, a USB host, Ethernet, serial, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), and NFC. Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth are available as options. 4.1.
The ZD621 is compatible with the innovative tools of the Link-OS-based "Print DNA Software Suite". These include the "PrintSecure" security tool and the "Printer Profile Manager Enterprise" management tool. Printer languages typically associated with other printer brands are emulated through "Virtual Devices".
