The user-friendly 4.3" full-color LCD touchscreen ensures simple and convenient operation with intuitive menu navigation (standard on healthcare and RFID models or optional on thermal transfer and direct thermal models). Three additional function keys and five integrated LEDs for status display further simplify handling of the ZD621.
Other features of this sustainable desktop printer include an optional battery function, 256 MB of SDRAM, and 512 MB of flash memory. The moving media sensor ensures high flexibility and enables almost free media selection. In addition, the ZD621's wide range of interfaces makes it easy to integrate and connect to wired or wireless networks. Direct connection to a Windows, Android, or iOS PC is also possible. Interfaces include USB 2.0, a USB host, Ethernet, serial, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), and NFC. Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth are optionally available 4.1.
The ZD621 is compatible with the innovative tools of the Link-OS-based »Print DNA Software Suite«. These include the »PrintSecure« security tool and the »Printer Profile Manager Enterprise« management tool. Via »Virtual Devices«, printer languages typically associated with other printer brands are emulated.
